Yesterday, after having received my visa for travel in Belgium, I finally got the date of the flight nailed down. I am leaving on AUGUST 17th, which suddenly seems very close, it being that I still have loads to do. I will therefore start off with a checklist of things to be completed prior to exchange.
o Phone The Chamber Of Commerce, Ask For Pins, Brochures, Etc. Pitch it so that I will be considered a representative of Drumheller while travelling. (This makes me feel like an ambassador smarticle).
o Phone The Town Of Drumheller, Do Same As Above
o Pack/Plan For Packing - Oh Dear!
o Get Harley Patch Sewed On Rotary Jacket by that Guy at the Shoe Shop
o Organize/Book Trip To Italy
o Receive Airline Ticket. Send Info To Host Parents And That Really Important Rotary Dude.
o Buy Gifts For Host Parents.
o Give Notice At Fossil World - I'll have to phone Mrs. Boss Lady to tell her when I leave and say bye-bye to my friend The Animatronic T. Rex.
o Get Euros
o Phone Visa, Tell That I Will Be Using Card In Belgium - No Awful "OMG it's not working!" situations.
o Make Sure Camera/Laptop Are Securely Packed And Charged - Necessities, Necessities.
